First Assist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Neurosurgery

AdventHealth Kansas City, a leading faith based not for profit health system, is searching for an experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to serve as a First Assist in surgeries, round in hospital pre and post-surgery, and follow-up clinic visits at our AdventHealth Shawnee Mission location located in the Kansas City Metro area.

**Our Employed Neurology group consists of:**

+ Two neurosurgeons, 2 neurosurgery APPs, 5 neurologists, 1 neurohospitalist, and 2 neurology APPs.

+ EMR - Epic

+ Schedule - Full Time Days

+ Shift - Monday - Friday; 40 hours a week

+ Location - 7450 Kessler St., Suite 205, Merriam, KS 66204

Qualifications

**The requirements for this position are:**

· Physician Assistant Degree

· Neurosurgery First Assist Experience

· Up to 1 Year of Position-Related Experience

· Kansas Physician Assistant Certification/License

· BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association

· ACLS obtained through the American Heart Association
