Join the Bear Mountain Health Care team as a Respiratory Therapist in our well-established Vent Program. Responsibilities
- Caring for Ventilator patients
- Working closely with Department Director or Nurse Practitioner to provide optimal ventilator settings and weaning parameters
- Changing tracheostomy tubes as scheduled and prn
- Setting up, applying and administering all forms of respiratory care using a complete range of respiratory equipment, including ventilators, cough assist (MIE), respiratory medications, BIPAP and CPAP as needed
- Responsible for reviewing physician's orders pertaining to respiratory care
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Respiratory Care License in the state of Mass
- Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care or hospital based experience and training which exceeds 5 years
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Successful completion of National Board of Respiratory Care (CRTT or RRT) exam
- RRT 1 year experience
- CRT 1 year experience

Join our well established Vent Program! Recent graduates welcoem! Great Rates-Up to $50 per hour plus shift differentials ! 12 hour shifts and 8 hour shifts available - Full Time, Part Time or Per Diem.
POSITION AND REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must have valid Respiratory Care License in the state of Mass
+ Successful completion of National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT or RRT) exam
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Primary duties are caring for Ventilator patients. The therapist will work closely with Department Director or Nurse Practitioner to provide optimal ventilator settings and weaning parameters
+ Change tracheostomy tubes as scheduled and prn
+ Sets up, applies and administers all forms of respiratory care as directed using a complete range of respiratory equipment, including ventilators, cough assist (MIE), respiratory medications, BIPAP and CPAP as needed
