Description
We are seeking caring people for rewarding part-time, one-to-one positions, providing respite services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Waiver Respite staff will provide 1:1 temporary care/supervision of person with special needs, which will p rovide the parent/caregiver a break from everyday routines supporting the person.
Staff will provide a safe environment and may include social and community activities.
Employees who work for Waiver Respite should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this position which requires a great deal of independence.
After-school, early evening and weekend hours are available for Waiver Respite.
PART-TIME HOURS/SCHEDULES AVAILABLE:
(1) 15 hours per week
(2) 22.25 hours per week
STARTING SALARY: $ 18.50 to $ 20.35 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable
Minimum Requirements
