Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Experience with the developmentally disabled a plus.
  • Current NYSED Teacher Assistant Certification or Certification obtained within 3 months of employment.

Preferred

  • A genuine interest in teaching students with Autism and willingness to motivate students to learn.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of all students.
  • A desire to acquire effective training techniques in behavior analysis programming
