Qualifications

Required

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited learning institution, or equivalent work experience
  • 0-2 years of prior relevant warehouse experience
  • Experience working in an automated warehouse environment preferred
  • Previous experience operating forklifts preferred
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to read/speak English
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Work well within a team and maintain pace while ensuring high quality standards
  • Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly
  • Meet and maintain high attendance standards
  • Ability to understand LEAN principles for continuous improvement
  • Basic keyboarding skills and understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to use email
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Title: Associate, Warehouse

Reports To: Supervisor, Warehouse

Position Location: Charleston, SC

FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

To perform the duties assigned in the designated area of the warehouse based on training and skill set. Assigned areas are: Receiving, Unloading, Repack, Returns, Stock Put Away, Picking, Packing, International Packing, Shipping, Loading, and any clerical functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Handles necessary warehouse equipment in assigned area of work

+ Must be able to perform at the minimum acceptable performance level for assigned area (95% of set standard or better in assigned area)
