  • Demonstrates working knowledge of backing, frying, roasting, steaming, broiling, grilling, serving and carving.
  • Prepares various food items including baked goods and desserts, meats, fish, poultry, shellfish, vegetables, garnishes, soups, and sauces according to standards.
  • Work involves cooking according to standard recipes and may include some general cleaning duties.
  • Plans and coordinates food production to meet serving schedules.
  • Monitors foods for quality and seasoning and make corrections as needed.
  • Utilizes and stores leftover foods according to industry standards.
  • Schedules other kitchen help.
  • Responsible for managing food inventory.
  • Responsible for tracking temps in refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher

  • Will be "Serv-Safe" trained
  • Demonstrates correct use of knifes, hand tools and utensil in preparing and serving
  • Demonstrates proper use of stove, convection microwave oven and other mechanical equipment
  • Anticipates problems rather than wait until the patients, visitors, staff or quest complains.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

+ High school diploma preferred.

+ Demonstrated ability to read & write.

+ One year of cooking experience or equivalent training.

+ Must be able to lift up to 50lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, walking, standing; occasional climbing of stairs; requires fine motor skills.
