Salary range: The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5, Scale 5. The salary range for this position is $129,800- $342,900 depending on Rank and Step. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/\_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Responsibilities include clinical care, inpatient care, outpatient procedures, teaching within the resident and fellowship programs, participation in clinical research, quality improvement, community and public service, curriculum design and other scholarly endeavors that will lead to academic promotion. Experience caring for individuals from medically underserved backgrounds and providing care to a highly diverse population of patients. Qualifications
Basic qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree and Prior Experience
Be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
Ability to obtain a Medical License in the State of California
Additional qualifications
Commitment to providing care to diverse populations and under-served populations
Demonstrated experience in the teaching of residents and medical students
Preferred qualifications
Current practice caring for adult and pediatric hospital inpatients.
U.S. Trained.
