AAM - Automotive Technician - Northway Toyota

We are also seeking ENTRY-LEVEL automotive technicians and offer an outstanding teaching environment. Top pay - highest in the industry! Fully air-conditioned and heated shop! Excellent working environment! Our technicians perform all warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance and repair work. Technicians are also responsible for installing accessories and performing new vehicle pre-delivery inspections, along with prep work. Technicians are required to maintain a current knowledge of vehicles and their service needs as described in manuals and technical bulletins, along with attending regular factory- sponsored trainings. Requirements - At least six months of prior experience as a technician, preferably in a dealership setting - Basic knowledge of vehicle electronic components, theory, systems, and testing tools and procedures - Skill in diagnosing and repairing all key vehicle systems and components - Knowledge of the proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, along with using tools and equipment safely - Basic writing skills (to record work performed and recommended future service requirements on repair orders) and the ability to read and interpret repair orders - Reliable with good attendance, work ethic, and time management skills - Valid, insurable driver's license and ability to pass a background check Additional Information We offer an excellent compensation package with competitive starting rates, Cigna health insurance, Lincoln dental, vision and supplemental benefits like accident, hospital and life insurance, a 401(K) retirement plan with company matching, plus service and vehicle discounts.
