**Sales Representative, Aluminum/Industrial (VA-NC-SC)**
**Allied Mineral Products** is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We are seeking a qualified **Sales Representative** in the South Eastern US to sell our refractory products and services offered by Allied Mineral Products to a diverse aluminum/industrial market. Develop relationships with current and potential customers to expand our market presence and increase sales. Maintain a high level of written and verbal communication with customers and colleagues at Allied.
**Qualifications:**
+ A Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience desired.
+ A minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the aluminum/industrial refractory industry desired.
+ Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must have solid interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
+ Must possess or be willing to obtain all required licenses and keep them current.
**Key Duties Include:**
+ Attend all required and recommended safety classes, meetings, videos, etc., and practice all safety requirements while driving, at a customer site, construction area, etc., to eliminate or minimize the risk of injury to you or others.
+ Develop positive and effective relationships with current and potential customers.
+ Work independently out of a home-based office with minimal direct supervision.
+ Familiar with Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word).
+ Identify customer needs and utilize resources found within Allied to bring solutions to the customer with Allied's product line.
+ Communicate opportunities, activity, applications, industry news from meetings and conversations with customers on a weekly basis via Allied's call report system.
+ Complete sales reports, forecasting, expense reports and other reporting requirements in a timely manner meeting required deadlines.
+ Complete necessary engineering and precast shape request forms required to receive engineering support and precast shape design and quote.
+ Be accountable for the entire sales process:
+ Prospect new opportunities with current and new accounts.
+ Obtain purchase order.
+ Interact with Customer Relations to assure order is correctly entered and customer required delivery is met.
+ Coordinate field service support if needed.
+ Be present for product installation and document material installation and application.
+ Create and update case studies when appropriate for new materials or applications.
+ Create annual goals related to sales and personal development and align activities to achieve these goals.
+ Complete required training assignments in Allied Learning Center in allotted time.
+ Travel as needed to achieve sales goals.
+ Stay within allotted expense budget.
+ Participate in annual sales meeting when required, usually in Columbus, OH.
**Working Environment**
+ Work out of home-based office.
+ Required to wear appropriate PPE per Allied's Safety & Health policy.
