Direct Care Team/CNA: currently seeking compassionate, motivated applicants who have a passion for working with the elderly. The direct care team member is responsible for providing the hand's on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service plan. The direct team member is also responsible for ensuring that light housekeeping, laundry, and dining support are also completed. Direct team members assist with social activities and outings, therefore becoming part of the resident's extended family by providing resident-centered care. The direct care team member is responsible for effectively communicating with residents and families, notifying the Resident Care Coordinator of any changes in condition or concerns, and is an essential part of the care team providing support to our residents.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent

+ Ability to read, write and speak English

+ Able to make responsible choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest

+ Be at least 18 years of age

+ Have a passion for working with the elderly
