McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, Assistant Professor, non-tenure clinical faculty position in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

The selected candidate will contribute to the department's mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.

**Position Key Accountabilities:**

The Assistant Professor in Pediatric Hospital Medicine's primary clinical responsibility is general inpatient care, including intermediate care status patients and overnight shifts.

Members of the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine are actively engaged in efforts to improve care delivery and patient safety as well as improve clinical education for learners across the educational continuum.

**Qualifications:**

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Candidates must be board eligible, or board certified in Pediatrics and preference is given to candidates who are board eligible, or board certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
