Responsibilities

  • Work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams.
  • Focus on a patient-centered care model.
  • Develop a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Follow policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum one-year recent Acute Care RN experience.
  • Current Connecticut RN License.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Demonstrates excellence in customer service.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed in clinical responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage and organize multiple clinical priorities.
  • Ability to delegate to achieve patient outcomes.

Shift Details: Join our dynamic STAR team float pool. Two 12 hour shifts. 7pm to 7:30am, every other weekend and every other holiday; Additional differential incentive
