We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Second Family Nursing Services, Inc.   • Team Work with child’s care team: parent/guardian, caregivers, physicians etc.
  • accompanying child to medical appointments/emergency visits, outings in the community, & trips
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications

Required

  • Rate is based on Skill Competence Review Check; This Skill Competence check will determine your Level of practice which determines the PDN case/assignment
  • Previous 1YR experience in pediatric care
  • Familiarity with medical software for documentation
  • Familiarity with medical equipment to administer care; to include: Pulse Oximeter, Oxygen reservoirs, IV administration, etc.
  • Ability to build rapport with client, family, and prescribing physicians
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in English language skills to speak, write, and read without much difficulty
  • Must have a current, unrestricted, and verifiable License
  • Must have current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Employee/Contractor must have at least one year of clinical experience which includes pediatric/adult direct patient care within the last two years
  • Current malpractice insurance certificate
