Discovery Therapy is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Early Intervention team in the greater Philadelphia area. The role involves conducting functional behavioral assessments, developing treatment plans, supervising behavioral assessment measures, and monitoring client progress. Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Develop treatment plans and interventions based on the FBA or clinical assessment

  • Develops appropriate behavioral data collection systems to allow for the continual evaluation of treatment plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives

  • Utilizes clinical outcome measures and individualized data collected regularly to graph, monitor progress, update treatment plan interventions, and develops discharge/aftercare plans
  • Consults and coordinates regularly with all mediators of the treatment plan
  • If applicable, support all assigned Therapeutic Support Staff in implementing designed ABA programs by providing at a minimum of monthly case consultation
  • Consult and collaborate with schools, daycares, medical professionals, and other related disciplines
  • Completes required clinical documentation regularly

Qualifications

Required

  • Master’s degree or higher in psychology, special education, social work, counseling, or another related field that is BACB approved
  • Current BCBA certification
  • Current PA Behavior Specialist License (LBS)
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal Background Check, and FBI Clearances within the past 12 months
  • Minimum of one-year post master’s experience implementing ABA programs for individuals under 21 with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or other related diagnoses
  • Knowledge and ability to implement appropriate assessment tools and clinical practices for children ages three to five
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis including data collection and record keeping systems, progress notes, and graphing
  • Proficient with adaptive/functional clinical assessments, ABA Program/Goal Development, and ABA Behavior Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures
  • Competent to address the age-specific issues relative to the population served
  • Ability to clinically address emotional/psychological needs of child/adolescent and family
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Discovery Therapy is seeking an excellent Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Early Intervention community team within the greater Philly area. All zip codes within Philadelphia county available!

Services will be for children with a variety of developmental and/or learning disabilities that are in the need of Behavior Support Services.

We have full-time, part-time, and contract/per-diem positions available. *1099 Contractor Position* Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (Flexible hours between 8am-5pm).

The BCBA Specialist conducts functional behavioral assessments (FBA) that will drive treatment planning and ABA programming. The BSC will provide behavior services and interventions to children. This position will develop an individualized treatment plan with the family and monitor a client’s progress towards achieving their goals. The BSC will supervise the implementation of behavioral assessment measures, functional assessment, and treatment plan implementation.
