The Transportation Supervisor at SkyHop Global is responsible for managing, coordinating, and scheduling a fleet of drivers according to airline schedules. Responsibilities
- Directs the work activity for a group of drivers to maximize profitability and customer experience.
- Provides leadership and direction to drivers, including process improvement, team-building, coaching, and feedback.
- Assists in minimizing overtime to emergencies situations.
- Assists the Station Manager in recruitment, interviewing, selection, training, motivating, coaching, and mentoring transport drivers.
- Responsible for daily maintenance review of fleet vehicles, daily vehicle inspections, scheduling maintenance, and communicating concerns to Fleet Manager.
- Manages checklists on the fleet.
- Promotes safe work activities by conducting safety audits, leading station safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
- Assists the Station Manager with managing local permits and vehicle registrations, ensuring timely renewal.
- Maintains positive professional relationship with airport ground transportation, attending meetings as required.
- Must complete required paperwork timely and adhere to company policies and protocol.

SkyHop Globalis one of the premier ground transportation companies for airline crews. We provide the transportation for pilots and flight attendants during their layover periods in a multitude of cities. The primary purpose of this position is to manage, coordinate, and schedule a fleet of drivers according to airline schedules.
NOTE: Depending on location size; may be expected to be in the field 50-75% of their scheduled time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Directs the work activity for a group of drivers that utilize the best cost option to maximize profitability and the customer experience.
+ Provides leadership and direction to drivers to include process improvement, team-building, coaching and feedback.
+ Assist in minimizing overtime only to emergencies situations.
+ Assist the Station Manager with the following: Recruit, interview, select, train, motivate, coach, and mentor transport drivers.
+ Responsible assisting in the daily maintenance review of fleet vehicles; daily vehicle inspections, schedule maintenance, and communicate concerns to Fleet Manager daily when necessary and through weekly. Manage checklists on the fleet.
