  • Supervision to clinical staff regarding assessments, interventions and treatment planning on each clinician's caseload
  • Conducts meetings with clinical staff to review cases as a team and to discuss strategies for treatment and intervention
  • Reviews discharges and ensure that there is justification for closing the case
  • Makes certain that their situation is stable and there is follow-up and linkage to appropriate services
  • Reviews staff documentation in charts, including assessments, treatment plans and case recording
  • Recommends revisions in the case recording for clinical appropriateness and other documentation
  • Makes certain that the charts are in order and the necessary forms are completed and in the chart
  • Assists program director in implementing and monitoring client database and statistical information
  • Maintains direct service caseload
  • Assists with direct service functions as needed

Job Overview:

The Psychologist provides supervision to clinical staff regarding assessments, interventions and treatment planning on each clinician's caseload. This role also conducts meetings with clinical staff to review cases as a team and to discuss strategies for treatment and intervention, and reviews discharges and ensure that there is justification for closing the case.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Doctoral degree in Psychology

Preferred:

+ One year of clinical experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ New Jersey Licensed Psychologist

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Shift working, 8am-4pm

+ Per Diem

Essential Functions:
