The Licensed Practical Nurse in Behavioral Health at Hartford HealthCare provides nursing collaboration for all enrollees in the program under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.   • Provides education (individually and in group format) in the areas of chronic conditions, newly diagnosed conditions, medications, health promotion, wellness & prevention including appropriate usage of medical services (i.e. PCP vs ED visits).
  • Works closely with BHH team on a day-to-day basis; reports to nursing services.

Qualifications

Required

  • Completion of a licensed LPN program.
  • Valid CT LPN license.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, Psychiatric or Substance Abuse Treatment preferred.
  • CPR certified within six months of employment.
