Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating the day to day activities of the unit to include patient care functions and any other activities as needed. The supervisor is also responsible for assisting in the administrative and clinical direction of the unit and coordinating nursing department functions/activities as needed.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education: Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
BSN preferred.
Experience: Three years experience in Surgical Services area.
Demonstration of managerial/leadership skills.
Licensure, Registration, or Certification:
Current licensure in good standing with South Carolina Board of Nurse Examiners.
BCLS, ACLS required. Certification preferred.
Proficiency Requirements: Passing grade on Connect Care Essentials I and II for RN, eMAR for RNs (RX210), and OpTime Advanced class for specific Surgical Services area.
