The Electrician at Mauser Packaging Solutions is responsible for installing and repairing all electrical devices of the plant.   • Electrician disassembles defective electrical equipment, replaces defective or worn parts, and reassembles equipment.
  • Responsible for replacing all fuses, light sockets, bulbs and switches.
  • Performs other duties assigned from management.

Qualifications

Required

  • At least one to three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment and electrical drafting experience.
  • Formal electrical training such as Union apprentice, Military training, Industrial experience, Trade school, College.
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Ability to read and simple reference electrical schematic and drawings.
  • Ability to work with live 480 VAC 3 phase systems.
  • Proficiency using electrical test instruments.
  • Ability to wire electrical panels from schematics.
  • Demonstrates basic mathematical aptitude, skills in basic mathematical calculations, decimals and fractions.
  • Understands quality, PPE requirements and safety and the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures.

Preferred

  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience or training.
  • Human/Machine interface (HMI) experience or training.
  • Industrial Ethernet experience or training.
  • Industrial control network experience or training.
  • Industrial vision inspection systems experience or training.
  • Punch press OSHA controls requirements experience or training.
  • Servo motor experience or training.

Job Summary

The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any / all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list:

  • Troubleshoots 480VAC 3 phase motor control circuits.
