  • Retrieve, review, and perform inventory management for medications and supplies in the pharmacy
  • Maintain pharmacy records
  • Perform housekeeping duties in the pharmacy in compliance with hospital and accreditation policies
  • Participate in the onboarding and training of new pharmacy personnel
  • Complete additional projects or activities as assigned by their manager

Job Summary

The Intern of Pharmacy position is for employees actively enrolled as a student in a health professions education degree program with a college or university. The intern works as an extension of the pharmacist, performing duties related to patient, provider, and customer care under the supervision of a pharmacist. The intern has responsibility with care activities which may include (but not limited to) sterile product preparation, clinical interactions with patients and the care team, and performance of a majority of pharmacy technical operations.

Job Duties

+ Performs the job duties of a pharmacy technician I as needed
