Responsibilities

  • Service a high volume of clients independently without producer involvement; process change requests, cancellations, etc.
  • Maintain an understanding of appropriate coverages and carrier appetites based on risk quoting and determine market selection based on risk and coverage sought.
  • Obtain loss runs and create loss summary for thorough evaluation and understanding of loss history, when necessary.
  • Submit accounts through an online rating system or through a formal submission process, depending on the carrier or wholesale broker process.
  • Set timelines, manage timelines, and follow up as needed with clients, producers (if involved), and markets.
  • Review quotes received, including forms offered and suggestions related to coverage offered between markets.
  • Prepare proposals as necessary.
  • Process the account through the agency binding procedures upon sale.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Minnesota Property & Casualty License
  • Minimum 7-10 years of commercial insurance experience
  • Working knowledge of Office 365
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products and usages
  • Knowledge of insurance markets, rating and underwriting procedures
  • Professional demeanor & positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented to handle multiple clients, tasks & requirements

Preferred

  • Experience with Applied Epic or TAM

  • Upon sale, process the account through the agency binding procedures.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Active Minnesota Property & Casualty License required
  • Minimum 7-10 years of commercial insurance experience
  • Working knowledge of Office 365
  • Experience with Applied Epic or TAM preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products and usages
  • Knowledge of insurance markets, rating and underwriting procedures
  • Professional demeanor & positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented to handle multiple clients, tasks & requirements
  • Frequently perform work activities including analyzing, reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, creative problem-solving, or speaking with others. The person in this position must be able to perform these activities in person, in writing, and through the telephone.


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
