Maintain sterile field
Prepare operating rooms and assists with patient positioning as needed
Inspect sterile items for contamination before opening, maintains sterility while scrubbed, maintains sterility of instruments and supplies
Performance of accurate instrument, sponge and needle counts, following established policies and procedures
Qualifications
High School Diploma/G.E.D. - required
1-3 years of scrubbing experience - preferred
Familiar with all specialty services - preferred
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire - required
LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Upon Hire - required
