  • Performs all types of analytical testing on specimens with accuracy, precision, and efficiency under the direction of a pathologist.
  • Performs and documents quality control according to established protocols.
  • Makes judgments concerning the results of quality control procedures.
  • Performs procedures in two or more functional sections of the medical laboratory.
  • Recognizes, evaluates, and solves specimen problems and properly follows procedures for rejection of specimens.
