Instructor/Trainer

Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Instructor/Trainer in Miami, Florida, who is passionate about teaching technology to our senior community. The primary function of this role involves guiding the elderly in the use of basic technology, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and digital health apps. This position provides the chance to conduct group classes, individual tech training, and assistance with telehealth programming in a growing tech start-up environment.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct group classes teaching basic technology use to senior individuals

- Provide one-on-one tech training sessions as needed

- Assist with the use and understanding of Digital Health Apps and telehealth programming

- Contribute to the growth of the start-up by developing and implementing new teaching methods

- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to ensure understanding across diverse groups

- Exhibit strong customer service skills when interacting with elderly individuals

- Show punctuality and reliability in all scheduled classes and sessions

- Demonstrate leadership skills by managing classes effectively and addressing individual needs

- Continuously seek to progress in teaching methods and technology knowledge

- Utilize public speaking skills to engage and educate in group settings

Requirements

- Must possess excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish languages

- Demonstrated customer service skills are required

- Must exhibit strong leadership skills and the ability to foster team collaboration

- Experience in a tech startup environment is preferred

- Must have the ability to train individuals or groups effectively

- Public speaking skills are essential

- Punctuality and reliability are crucial for success in this role

- Must be able to monitor and report on progress of those being trained

- Previous experience in the role of an Instructor or Trainer is desirable
