- Delivers assembled patient food trays on assigned floors and collects and returns tray at the end of patient meal.
- Ensures delivery of excellent customer service resulting in positive and improving patient satisfaction scores.
- Answers and records telephone messages for diet orders, diet changes, room transfers, etc.
- Prepares 'Special Nourishment Control Sheet' for all special nourishment labels.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in hospital Food Service Department.

Serves as liaison between the patient, nursing staff and Food Services Department regarding meal selection, obtaining and recording food preferences. Collects menus and maintains on-going records of diet orders. Assures high quality meal service to the patient by checking each tray, at meal time, for accuracy and delivering meals to patients in a timely basis.
