- Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
- Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
- Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
- Act 34 clearance.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) licensure.
- Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement.

UPMC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for our outpatient Pain Management office in Williamsport, PA. This LPN position enjoys a consistent dayshift schedule Monday-Friday with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 am - 5:00 pm. There are no required weekends or major holidays (7 paid holidays per year).

+ $5,000.00 - 2yr Commitment | 0-1 year experience & recent graduates
