  • Ensure documentation of care is complete and accurate.
  • Obtain detailed patient medical histories.
  • Collect telephone information for consultation with provider.
  • Perform basic wound care and dressing changes.
  • Notify patients of normal lab results and provider instructions for follow-up care.
  • Administer medications and injections under the direction of the physician or APP.

Qualifications

Required

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
