**Job Summary:**

Excellent opportunity for a Rehab PM&R physician to join the inpatient rehab units for Johnston-Willis Hospital. Johnston-Willis' therapist-to-patient ratio is lower than the national average, providing patients with individualized care and encouragement. They offer highly qualified specialists ranging from doctors, nurses, social workers/case managers to coordinate and assure patients receive the necessary treatments and therapies.

**Qualified Candidates:**

+ Must be board eligible or board certified in their specialty

+ Board eligible candidates still in training must be scheduled for their boards

+ Must be energetic and motivated

+ Virginia licensure or ability to obtain

+ Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration

**About the Rehab Unit:**

The unit treats patients (age 18 or older) with a range of conditions, including:

+ Stroke

+ Post-operative cardiac conditions

+ Cancer

+ Orthopedic injuries

+ Amputations

+ Brain injury

+ Neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's
