The Mobile HVAC Technician at CBRE performs preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems, and equipment, vehicles, and grounds within a geographical area across multiple sites. Responsibilities

  • Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.
  • Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders vital materials and supplies to complete all tasks. Uses CMMS to handle work orders.
  • Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
  • Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
  • Coordinates and inspects the work performed by outside contractors including landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning.
  • Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
  • Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks
  • Excellent social skills, including oral and written communications
  • Uses computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, and training
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more

Preferred

  • EPA Universal certification

**About the role:**

Working under limited supervision when supporting assigned service calls, uses intermediate skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems and equipment, vehicles, and grounds within a geographical area/route potentially across multiple sites.
