The Merchandiser Retail Sales at Acosta Group is responsible for providing retail sales merchandising coverage and executing retail special projects in an assigned territory. Responsibilities
- Deliver retail merchandising and sales goals across all channels in assigned territory
- Meets client expectations regarding retail sales coverage and productivity in assigned territory
- Assists in retail and sales initiatives as assigned
- Enter and transmit data in a timely manner
- Execute retail territory coverage plan to ensure merchandising coverage goals are met
- Work closely with management to develop professional relationships
- Execute merchandising events in assigned territory
- Perform special projects as assigned by Manager
- Maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts per plan-o-gram
- Rotate stock, clean and stock display and price merchandise as appropriate
- Check date codes and ensure adherence to approved plan-o-gram
- Report observations regarding outdated product, unbalanced stock, out-of-stock situations and point of purchase requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- One-year experience in dealing with the public at the retail sales level preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work in extremely cold conditions
- Good vision and ability to operate various equipment and tools
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- Professional appearance & demeanor
- Familiarity with Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal communication skills

**As the Retail Sales Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for optimizing product visibility and driving sales in retail stores. Your duties include conducting store visits, collaborating with store managers, utilizing technology for data collection and maintaining product display standards. You'll provide retail sales merchandising, complete special projects, and build strong relationships with store managers to help increase sales for our clients.**

**What will you do?**

+ **Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand and/or walk for long periods.**
+ **Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive a car for extended periods.**
+ **Must be at least 18 years of age.**
