*Assistant Manager Responsibilities:*

* Ensure company policies are followed

* Control costs to optimize profits

* Hire, train, and develop new employees

* Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction

* Provide leadership and direction to all employees

* Maintain product quality and availability

* Prepare and present employee reviews

* Work closely with the store manager to lead staff

* Assist customers as needed

* Ensure health, safety, and security rules are followed

* Take disciplinary action when necessary

* Complete tasks assigned by the general manager accurately

* Maintain store standards, including stocking and cleaning
