  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Project management experience

We have an immediate need for a Packaging Engineer at our aerospace location in Rockford, ILL.

**Roles & Responsibilities:**

+ Ensure the product is packaged correctly and according to customer mandates

+ Develop and design various packaging for various Aerospace products per specified requirements

+ Estimate cost for packaging manufactured goods

**The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education & experience:**

+ Engineering degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience

+ Experience in container or packaging development/design

+ **_Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US citizen_**

**Desired Skills:**

+ Familiarity with SAP ( System Application & Procedures)

+ Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint

+ Project management experience

**Physical Requirements & Work Environment:**

+ Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

+ Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

+ Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

+ Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

+ Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

+ Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
