  • Demonstrated excellence in professional communication
  • Recent prior experience in scrubbing complex orthopedic cases

Preferred

  • Ambulatory surgery experience
  • Ability to scrub Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Adult Otolaryngology, Plastic, General, Urology, and Gynecological Surgery and VASCULAR
  • Self motivated and excellent organization skills
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist certification program

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities***

**Required Qualifications***

+ Completion of an accredited or military Surgical Technologist program is required.

+ Minimum of 3 years of recent O.R. experience is required for placement at the Senior level.

+ Two years' experience as a Surgical Technologist is required.

+ Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to work as a team member.

**Desired Qualifications***

+ Ability to scrub Orthopedic Sports Medicine.

**Work Schedule**

This is for 1 position, 30 hours a week/ 10 hours, variable start time with Saturday Rotation.

Saturday commitment will end at the end of the year.

**Work Locations**

Mode of work: Onsite

The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan
