Responsibilities

  • Clean and dust patient rooms, isolation rooms, nursing stations, ancillary rooms, exam rooms, procedure rooms, conference rooms, offices, hallways, corridors, public areas, etc.
  • Sweep, strip and wax floors
  • Clean vertical and horizontal surfaces using approved cleaning solutions
  • Operate vacuum cleaners, buffers, wall washing machines, shampoo machines, and floor machines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to read and write, follow oral and written instructions in English language
  • Ability to work in standing position for a long period of time, stretch, stoop, bend, climb, and reach repetitively
  • Ability to work in hot, cold and/or wet areas; lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 350 lbs.
  • Knowledge in the use, disposal, and labeling of chemicals used in a food service setting
  • Ability to conform to dress code and work in a non-smoking environment
  • Ability to practice safe food handling techniques
  • Ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and work schedule
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, assistant managers, and managers

As a Senior Custodian, you will clean and dust patient rooms, isolation rooms, nursing stations, ancillary rooms, exam rooms, procedure rooms, conference rooms, offices, hallways, corridors, public areas, etc. You will sweep, strip and waxes floors as well as clean vertical and horizontal surfaces using approved cleaning solutions. These duties involve operating vacuum cleaners, buffers, wall washing machines, shampoo machines and floor machines. You will also perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Salary range: $19.47-$25.16 Hourly

QualificationsRequired:
