\nwill abstract and code medical information from medical records of cancer
\n
\npatients in accordance with guidelines and definitions of the California Cancer
\n
\nRegistry (CCR), Surveillance, Epidemiology and End-Results (SEER), California Cancer
\n
\nSurveillance Program (CSP) of Los Angeles County, and the UCLA Cancer Registry,
\n
\nand the Commission on Cancer.
\n

\n
\nWe are

\nseeking a dedicated professional with:

\n* CTR
\n
\ncertification required.
\n
\n* Prefer
\n
\n5+ years abstracting experience.
\n
\n* Experience
\n
\nworking in a Cancer Registry or taking Cancer Registry classes, and/or
\n
\nCTR-eligible.
\n
\n* Excellent
\n
\norganizational skills in maintaining Cancer Data files and conducting annual
\n
\nfollow up of cancer data center patients.
\n
\n* Excellent

\ndata entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
\n

\nin prioritizing and performing a variety of duties within a system that has

\nconstantly changing assignments, priorities, and deadlines.
