\nThe Clinical Supervisor will work directly with the Director of Interventional Services in development of the nursing staff including education, department competencies, evaluation, performance correction, patient safety and customer service related issues. The Clinical Supervisor will assist nursing and care staff in reaching their full potential at each stage of their professional development. The focus will be on developing and enhancing clinical knowledge, technical skills, clinical decision making skills, professional performance standards and inter-personal skills that nursing and care staff use to provide quality services

\nThe Clinical Supervisor working in the Cardiac Cath Laboratory is responsible for ensuring that the operations of the unit flows smoothly and provides a standardized approach to the care of patients. The Clinical Supervisor will maintain clinical competence, technical skill, and demonstrate critical decision making skills. The Clinical Supervisor will evaluate, treat and provide postoperative care to both cardiac and vascular patients. The Clinical Supervisor will monitor the patient’s vital signs, administer medications; update the patients chart within the Electronic Health Record system; provide education and instruction to patients and their families and ensure safety, knowledge and instruction regarding all clinical procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Clinical Supervisor will assist physicians with patient assessments; pre-procedure, intra-procedure and post procedure. This position is responsible for providing care to patients with age-related physiological, emotional and cognitive needs of the following age groups: adult and geriatric.\n\nDuties\n Professional Support/Supervision:\n\n
