Qualifications

Required

  • MA certification is required.
  • BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of position-related experience, Preferred.

**Schedule:** Ful-Time

**Shift** : Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm

**The role you'll contribute:**

Perform clerical and/or patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients. These staff members function under the supervision and authority of the licensed physician, or non-physician provider licensed in State of Kansas.

**The value you'll bring to the team:**

+ Ability to give immunizations.

+ Ability to utilize computer/computer software for pertinent patient documentation, providing documentation to patient as needed (i.e. patient plan). This includes pertinent training as necessary from time to time.

+ Adhere to policies/procedures for patient medications and testing - refilling patient medications according to protocols only as appropriate.

+ Electronic communications with patients, when desired (in keeping with established policy standards).

Qualifications

**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**

+ MA certification is required. Please inquire which credentialing bodies are approved.

+ BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association

+ One (1) to two (2) years of position-related experience, Preferred.
