Job Summary:
⦁ Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need, such as seniors, people with disabilities, or those recovering from injury or illness.
⦁ Assist with daily living activities, personal care and medication management.
⦁ Create a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for client
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) like assist with bathing dressing, grooming and going to the bathroom
⦁ Help with mobility, transfers and exercises
⦁ Manage medications, appointments and medical needs.
⦁ Provide meal preparation, feeding if needed and hydration
⦁ Monitor changes in health and behavior and respond to emergencies
⦁ Assist with light housekeeping, laundry and running errands
⦁ Offer emotional support, companionship and social interaction
⦁ Maintain confidentiality, respect and dignity for clients
Requirements:
⦁ High school diploma or equivalent
⦁ Caregiver training or certification
⦁ Ability to lift, transfer and move clients as needed
⦁ Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
⦁ Reliable transportation
⦁ Background check and clearance
