  • Assume other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as needed to ensure effective program and agency operations

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's Degree in MFT, MHC, or MSW required
  • LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC - Licensure pending with individual and family work experience; CASAC a plus
  • Spanish speaking, writing and clinical abilities required
  • Minimum of two years' experience providing counseling services to adolescents and families
  • Three years' experience working with at-risk families and youth
  • Valid NYS driver's license with a safe and responsible driving history
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability readily adapt to program specific software

School Based Clinician

The Opportunity

FCA is excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Families First School-Based Clinician located in Great Neck. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a school-based counselor position in our Family Support division.

The Associate School Counselor will provide trauma-informed, systems-based and strength-based psychotherapy services in Spanish to ENL/ESL students and their families as part of the Family First school-based counseling program. The Counselor maintains communication with school's Guidance team and ENLESL staff to benefit student's progress.

Compensation Information

The competitive compensation range is reflected with FCA's framework, culture, and values. Individual pay decisions will vary based on skills and experience' while still allowing for growth.

Additional Information

+ $29.12 an hour

+ Schedule: (M-F), evening and weekend hours as needed

+ This role is full-time (35 hours/week), Non-exempt.
