The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant at Granville Health System is responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. Qualifications

Required

  • Licensed in North Carolina to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant or the ability to obtain licensure.
  • Ability to push-pull, lift-carry, and transfer patients.

Preferred

  • Experience in acute care, long-term care and/or outpatient settings.
  • Occupational Health experience.
  • Women's Health experience.
  • Wound Care experience.

The Physical Therapy assistant may perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated by the supervising Physical Therapist. Ability to push-pull, lift-carry, and transfer patients. Qualifications: Licensed in North Carolina to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant or the ability to obtain licensure. Preferred experience in acute care, long-term care and/or outpatient settings. Occupational Health, Women#s Health, and/or Wound Care experience a plus.
