The Warehouse Attendant at Kinder Morgan is responsible for preparing and completing warehouse orders for in-house delivery or pickup, performing inventory controls, maintaining high-quality standards, and assisting with logistics coordination. Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete warehouse orders for in-house delivery or pickup according to schedule.
- Perform all duties with strict adherence to Kinder Morgan's Corporate Policy.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Perform inventory controls and maintain high-quality standards for audits.
- Assist with logistics coordination to transport materials.
- Process inventory within company internal system for all receivables and orders.
- Coordinate with vendors for light procurement needs (e.g., office supplies, equipment).
- Keep a clean and safe working environment, optimizing space utilization.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment. Perform daily preventative maintenance on forklift, vehicle, and equipment.
- Resolve any material discrepancies, shortages or damages.
- Operate under all safety, environmental and ethical guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker (2-5 years of experience)
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems (Proficiency in Infor - Lawson, and CMMS- Maximo a plus)
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (Lift up to 50 lbs., able to also work from heights)
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (forklift, pallet jack, tele handler). Capable of performing pre-use inspections on equipment
- Experience with Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Teams, and Power point)
- High school degree
- Must be eligible and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential as issued by DHS/USCG
