My client is an insurance company transforming into a data-driven and innovative organization. The Data Science Lab (DSL) is a new unit aiming to reimagine insurance with emerging technology, societal shifts, and consumer needs. - Collaborate with other data scientists, data engineers, business groups, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact and high-visibility projects.
Qualifications
Required
- Have a PhD or Master's degree in a related field
- Basic experience in data analysis and statistical modeling
- Strong background in deep learning and NLP
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must have at least 3 years of real work experience

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced data scientist with a strong background in LLM and Generative AI. The data scientist will develop advanced data science solutions using LLM to enhance various aspects of their business, such as underwriting, claims, and customer service.
Day to Day
- The data scientist will also design and optimize prompts and templates to guide the LLM's behavior and output, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and fluency.
- The data scientist will collaborate with other data scientists, data engineers, business groups, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact and high-visibility projects.
Requirements
- Have a PhD or Master's degree in a related field
- basic experience in data analysis and statistical modeling
- strong background in deep learning and NLP
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- The data scientist will work 2-3 days a week at the NYC location in Hudson Yards.
- Must have at least 3 Years if Real work experience.
