Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients aiming to develop, recover, and maintain physical mobility/function. Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Graduate of a Program in Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
  • Current and active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of Tennessee
