Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients aiming to develop, recover, and maintain physical mobility/function. Qualifications
Required
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Graduate of a Program in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
- Current and active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of Tennessee
