Full Job Description

VCA Milliken Animal Hospital is looking for a registered veterinary technician (RVT) to join our team! Why and where is Milliken you might ask, well we are conveniently located 45 minutes north of Denver and 45 minutes south of Fort Collins. Just out of the busy city life but close enough to enjoy Red Rocks concerts, Denver sporting events, Fort Collins micro brews, and all the wonder the mountains hold. With a 4 day work week you will be able to enjoy anything from the many ski resorts to paddle boarding and hiking in the warmer months.We are a positive & upbeat team who enjoys working with each other in a hometown setting. Ideal candidates should possess: excellent teamwork skills, the ability to multi-task, animal handling and animal healthcare knowledge, competence with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting. Candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively with co-workers, demonstrate respect for all animals and humans, use common sense and be dependable.

We provide annual continuing education reimbursement up to $750, free race certified CE, CVT license reimbursement, vacation and sick pay, holiday pay, scrubs, medical, dental, vision, 401K, flexible spending account, life insurance, and GENEROUS pet benefits for up to four pets. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, $21.00 to $24.00 per hour to start. **Sign on bonus available with signed contract.**
