  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or financial auditing.
  • Certified Public Accountant required within 12 months.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Accurate and detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks at one time.
  • Commitment to doing things right the first time.
  • Board perspective and understanding of the organization's interrelationships.
  • Ability to think "outside the box".

PeaceHealth is seeking a Accountant Senior CPA for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $40.22 - $60.34. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

The remote role requires the incumbent to reside in OR, WA, AK or TX by date of hire.

**Job Summary**

This position is responsible for wide range of accounting work requiring critical thinking, knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, knowledge of tax laws, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with many deadlines. May also include work with system implementations, audit, reporting needs. The Senior Accountant performs planning and coordination of complex accounting activities.

**Essential Functions**

+ Supervisory experience preferred.

**Credentials**

+ Certified Public Accountant required within 12 months.
