  • Write SQL queries, create end-user reports, and apply varying analytical techniques to solve specific business problems

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, analytics, economics or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability working as an analyst in the healthcare industry with medical claims, membership, and provider data
  • Strong knowledge of and experience working with healthcare data
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) required
  • Proven experience working with Medicare paid claims data sets; other applicable datasets include Census and Member Eligibility datasets
  • Experience in data mining, statistical analysis, and data transformation/manipulation
  • Experience working with large data repositories and/or relational databases
  • Expertise in MS Excel, with proficiency using formulas, PivotTables, linked worksheets, graphing and other reporting and presentation features

**Overview**

We are looking for a **Medical Economics Analyst Senior** to join our team. This position will directly report to the Medical Economics Manager and is responsible for partnering with payers, providers and risk bearing entities to create a value based palliative care offering targeting patients approaching end of life. The role will be the first Medical Economics staff member to join the team and will be instrumental in designing the function to drive value and differentiation in this exciting new business line.
