The RN House Supervisor at AdventHealth is responsible for coordinating and directing safe and efficient patient care and throughput in the hospital. - Report concerns and events to the designated administrator on call.
- Physically make rounds on unit's during their shift.
- Participate in patient care as needed, including starting IVs, patient transport, and performing admission/discharge procedures.
- Facilitate creative development of processes and standards to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain high skill level through ongoing education and meeting attendance.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- BSN required within 2 years of hire or transfer to role
- RN license to practice in CO or KS as applicable
- Basic Life Support certified from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified from the American Heart Association
