  • Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
  • Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
  • Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-services, projects, committees as assigned.
  • Adheres to and support policies and procedures of STRHS Pulaski.
  • Works scheduled shifts including overtime, when necessary.
  • Maintains a neat and professional appearance in compliance to the existing dress code.
  • Provide effective mentoring.
  • Be loyal to the absent.
  • Always manage up.
  • Consistent use of AIDET & 5 P's.
  • Uphold the facilities Standards of Performance.
  • Actively participates in Foundation Safety Behavior Tools and Tactics such as Briefs, Debriefs, Huddles, Learning Board Activities, Executive Patient Safety Rounds and reporting of unanticipated and unintended patient events regardless of whether there is harm.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree Preferred
  • Graduate of a Program in Radiological Technology
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS may be obtained one week following orientation)
  • Current license American Associate of Radiologic Technologists.
