Full Job Description

As an Physical Therapist in our Home Health Care Division, you will be required to conduct Therapy in our patients homes. This position has a coverage area of Macomb County. This area includes but is not limited to far northern Macomb - Ray, Ira, Armada, Bruce, New Haven, Richmond, etc.

Also, Sterling Hts, Macomb, Shelby, Clinton Twp., New Baltimore, Harrison Twp. These areas are subject to change due to patient and business needs.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the therapy supervisor implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, (e.g., heat, water, exercise, etc.) directed towards relieving pain and/or restoring physical functions to rehabilitative clients.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required to relieve pain and/or restore a physiological function.

LICENSE/CERTIFACTIONS:

· Requires current Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Michigan.

· Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Must be able to lift and position clients and perform treatment modalities.

· High level of interpersonal skill is required to effectively interface with clients and physicians.
