We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Worker to join our team at the University of Indianapolis. As a Student Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to the Food Service Workers in our retail trade industry. Your major end result will be to ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Assist FSW in preparing and serving food and beverages to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Qualifications
Required
- Must be a current student at the University of Indianapolis
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred
- Previous experience in the food service industry
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Experience handling cash and credit card transactions

Provides on call part time (20 hours or less a week) customer service by preparing and serving menu items as needed during each semester.
